Gas Safety
LPG Safety Comes First
Most gas accidents are preventable. Follow these practices at home and at work, and book a professional inspection whenever you are unsure.
If you suspect a gas leak
Avoid flames and electrical switches, do not start vehicles or generators nearby, open doors and windows if it is safe to do so, move everyone to a safe location and contact a qualified professional immediately.

Everyday LPG safety
Always check for leaks
Brush soapy water on joints and connections. Bubbles mean a leak — close the valve immediately.
Keep cylinders upright
A cylinder must always stand upright on firm, level ground, never on its side.
Keep LPG away from flames and heat
Store cylinders far from open flames, cooking fires, generators and direct sunlight.
Do not tamper with regulators
Only a qualified technician should fit, adjust or replace a regulator.
Use approved gas hoses
Replace cracked or hardened hoses. Use LPG-rated hoses with proper clamps only.
Ventilate the storage area
Keep cylinders in a well-ventilated outdoor space, never in a closed bedroom or store room.
Never ignore the smell of gas
If you smell gas, act at once — do not wait to see whether it clears on its own.
Book a professional leakage test
Our technicians test your regulator, hose, valves and full setup, then give you a clear safety report.
